Adelaide’s Place mission is to provide resources and an inviting, safe, and secure environment for homeless women. the organization is looking for 1 or 2 dedicated students to participate in a virtual service opportunity of Social Media and Marketing Advocates. As a small organization located at 2416 Arctic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401) they need volunteers to enhance their current social media platforms. Currently they only have a Facebook account, therefore some of the responsibilities of this position would entail:
1_ Creating an Instagram account for the organization
2) Maintaining their Facebook page
3) Advertising events online
4) Creating digital content such as flyers or pamphlets that address local resources or health precautions to take during the pandemic
