About
Women in healthcare represent 65% of the workforce, yet women account for only 25% of eadership teams and that there is only one female CEO among the top 10 pharmaceuticals - That needs to change. Girls to Industry is a new organization aimed at connecting and influencing girls and young women to pursue leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries.
Founded in 2021, its focus is to create social media content, workspaces, and a virtual summer program with guest speakers to help young girls and women strive for executive roles in pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology companies. Currently, Slackspace and Instagram pages have been created to gather members who are interested in being part of this initiative.
This volunteer opportunity is looking for volunteers to spread the word of this organization through social media by:
-Following Girls to Industry on its LinkedIn and Instagram pages
-Sharing any digital media/updates to your followers
Volunteers will be awarded hours based on posts made and shared from the organization.
