About

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Here are the monthly duties that are fulfilled by Contributors: • Conduct in-person or phone interviews with women involved in Texas politics (does not have to be an elected official, can be anyone involved in politics such as volunteers, non-profit leaders, appointed officials, student activists, etc.) • Write at least one article per month on an individual from your geographic region (average 400-800 words) • Scout potential women to be featured in future articles • Maintain correspondence during and after an article is published with the feature subject • Gather photographs from feature subject to be used in articles

HOURS ARE FLEXIBLE (minimum of 5 hours a month) ALL WORK WILL BE CONDUCTED REMOTELY NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - TRAINING PROVIDED SEASONAL TERM LASTS FOR ONE SEMESTER (must renew upon completion of each semester if you are interested in continuing this role)

Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
