Share the Market is a community outreach program where we purchase fresh, locally-cultivated produce from vendors at the end of farmers markets. We transport the produce and distribute at rural food pantries, while also providing recipes and nutrition education. This is a great opportunity to support families in your community and encourage healthy eating! We are looking for two volunteers per community location.
I am looking for individuals who are interested in committing to one of six locations below each month (August - October):
Albion: August 26, September 23, and October 28 from 4-6 pm
Endicott: August 12, September 9, and October 14 from 1-3 pm
Genesee: August 13, September 10, and October 8 from 10 am - 12 pm

Lewiston: August 17, September 21, and October 19 from 4-6 pm
Lapwai: August 17, September 21, and October 19 from 10am - 12 pm
*Dates may be subject to change*

Each time you travel to your location, you will pick up produce from the backyard harvest office designated for your location. You will also bring the provided recipe cards, table, chairs, and canopy (if needed).
You will track how many participants come up to the table as a means of data collection.
Share information about Backyard Harvest and our gleaning program (includes volunteer opportunities).
