About

Cards of Compassion is a volunteer-driven greeting card drive. Our mission is to serve people of all ages and situations, bringing compassion and kindness with each card.

We are a community service organization that sends compassion. We ask our volunteers to participate in three simple steps:
1) We ask our generous community to send instant Joy Cards through our website or mail us traditional handmade or store-bought greeting cards. Our volunteers send us cards with the goal to give reassurance, strength, and tender joy to those who need it. They remind our recipients that they are not alone in their journey.

2) Cards of Compassion receives these cards and messages. We gather Sympathy cards, Get Well cards, Thinking of You cards, Birthday cards, and Christmas cards. We match the cards to our beautiful recipients and their situation, then bundle them together in a bright ribbon. Then, we mail these cards to the recipient in a Bundle of Joy.

3) Our recipients are nominated by a family member or friend who cares for them deeply and wishes them to receive some heartfelt compassion and kindness. Our mission is to serve people of all ages and situations, whether they are dealing with an illness, fighting with emotional or mental stress, grieving a loss, feeling isolated, or celebrating a life-changing event. All beautiful people are recognized and given kindness and support.
