Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) is a model of care that integrates primary health care into New Vista's existing mental health and substance use services to provide integrated services to clients. Suitable for Students Pursuing a(n): Associates or Bachelors
Suitable for Students Studying: Any degree track related to Human Health Services.
Location: Fayette County
Hours of Opportunity: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm; Monday through Sunday
Available Slots: Two
Application Note: Students who apply for the Mental Health Data Student Intern Volunteer position using the "Apply Now" button will land on an application titled "Non-Clinical Student Intern Volunteer." Although the title is different, this is the application for the position.
In addition to the above requirements in the "Requirements and Additional Information" section, students selected for this position must provide the following:
- Three Professional References
- Official Transcript for your Current Program
- Signed Contingent Offer Letter
Students must also complete and pass the following:
- Background Checks
- Drug Screening
Additionally, interns will be required to attend a one-day orientation. This orientation will fall on a Monday and is scheduled with New Vista's Human Resources department upon completion and a successful review of all required materials. Students who are missing academic obligations such as courses or mandatory meetings will be provided with an Excused Absence Note.
Access to live New Vista hosted trainings spanning a variety of community mental health center topics.
Participation in certain New Vista events such as wellness fairs.
Access to the Employee Assistance Program.
