Great opportunity to serve the hungry, less fortunate, and homeless. What surprised me about Urban Mission is that the partners are not only willing to feed the homeless, but they care so much about people nutrition and health. Hence, they locally grow their vegetable in the Church's farm.

It was a great and wonderful experience for me serving. Giving back to the community is paramount and should be part of our daily lives. Our care for others shows who we really are, and what we stand for. Let's be the change we want to see.
I worked in the garden for the first time during MLK day, and it made me realize how essential it is to serve my community. Urban Mission Garden Partners are not only committed to providing food for people, but they want you to eat healthily. Hence they grow their lettuces, cabbage, carrots, and many vegetables to feed the community with it. They care about our nourishment.
It pays to serve, not money wise obviously because community service is unpaid. However, the joy and happiness a person derives from serving others is the best thing ever. Let's be a part of our community.
Woow! It was my first time feeding the hopeless. It was indeed a great experience to see the partners and associations including Churches that come together to ensure that people don't go the their bed hungry. It was a great experience for me, and I will forever cherish those moment of my life. I am encouraged, and I urge everyone to go out and serve. Let's be the change we want to see.
