The training to be a CASA was very informative and provided an insight into how much the children in foster care need advocates and people in their corner to make sure that they are receiving the support they need. Making sure that their voice is heard and that their best interest is being looked after.
It was very nice to be able to help the organization and Chris out. I was able to make 12 bags of groceries to give out to individuals as they arrived at the center for food assistance. The center was very nice and clean. I plan on volunteering more of my time there in the future.
