About

Learn about Citizens' Climate Lobby through the umbrella website (https://citizensclimatelobby.org/  ) including primary goal, volunteer base, lobbying efforts, and student involvement. Meet with CCL-Palouse members to discuss these topics and find out more about the local group.  Then, document what is happening at WSU in terms of sustainability, environmental initiatives, and climate action.

Track:

  • academic departments,
  • university offices,
  • student groups/organizations-- who is involved, what are their priorities, what actions are they interested in and/or do they take.

Let campus climate entities know about CCL's work and explore collaboration possibilities and interest in a campus CCL group.

Document current activity of student climate action organizations at other higher education institutions, e.g., Princeton Student Climate Initiative, --track priorities, actions.

Find out about internships related to climate action available through academic departments or other entities, and if there are non-profit organizations, e.g., Sierra Club, supporting climate groups at universities.

Compile a report of this information for the co-chairs of the CCL Palouse Chapter and present a summary at one of the monthly CCL Palouse Chapter meetings
